With Early Voting Ending on Friday, Latino Victory Project Reminds Texas Latinos to Make Their Voices Heard

Washington, D.C. — With early voting ending Friday, October 31, 2014 in Texas, Latino Victory Project President Cristóbal Alex today urged Latinos across the state to ensure their voices are heard on Election Day.

“You can never predict what may come up on Election Day that will prevent you from getting to the polls,” Alex said. “By voting early, we can ensure our voices are heard loud and clear on November 4th. The Latino community in Texas has a huge potential to make the difference in this year’s statewide elections.”

With 4.2 million Latino voters, Texas has the second largest Hispanic eligible voter population nationally, a 2012 Pew report finds.

According to the Texas Secretary of State, registered Texas voters may cast their ballots at any early voting location in their respective county of registration. For a list of county offices and locations, please click here.
