With Early Voting Ending on Friday, Latino Victory Project Reminds Nevada Latinos to Make Their Voices Heard

Washington, D.C. — With early voting ending Friday, October 31, 2014 in Nevada, Latino Victory Project President Cristóbal Alex today urged Latinos across the state to ensure their voices are heard on Election Day.

“In this year’s midterm elections, the Latino community in Nevada has an incredible opportunity to make a difference,” Alex said. “Early voting is a great way to ensure the candidates and the issues we care most about are successful on November 4th.”

With 268, 000 Latino voters, Nevada has the thirteenth largest Hispanic eligible voter population nationally, a 2012 Pew report finds.

According to the Nevada Secretary of State, all registered Nevadans may vote at any early voting location in their respective counties until Friday, October 31st. For a list of county offices and locations, please click here.
