Ralph G. Patino
Ralph G. Patino is the managing shareholder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Patino & Associates, P.A., a 28 year-old nationally acclaimed law firm specializing in corporate law, healthcare, commercial and products liability litigation. Mr. Patino achieved national prominence for his relentless drive to protect the public in consumer products cases including automotive defect, tobacco and pharmaceuticals. He has achieved countless multimillion-dollar jury awards and settlements on behalf of both corporate and individual clients over the course of his 33-year career.
Mr. Patino is a member of the Democratic National Finance Committee. Together with several nationally-known Latino figures, including Eva Longoria and Henry Munoz, he helped establish the Futuro Fund, a Hispanic/Latino organization credited with raising $36 million dollars for the Democratic National Committee in 2012 by engaging and empowering Hispanic and Latino donors for the first time in U.S. history.
Mr. Patino worked closely and tirelessly with the Obama Administration as a private citizen to assist in the advancement of U.S.-Cuba diplomatic relations and has been accredited with the Administration’s push toward normalcy with the Cuban Government. He is one of the founders and board members of Cuba Now, an organization dedicated to advocating for practical and effective policy for meaningful change in Cuba through the empowerment of individuals. As a founding Member of the Executive Board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s U.S.-Cuba Business Council, he is committed to building a strong and strategic commercial relationship between Cuba and the United States.
Mr. Patino served on the Board of Directors of the Jackson Health System Public Health Trust, which is entrusted with steering a multi-billion dollar enterprise, is a past trustee of the Florida Democratic Party, is an acting director of the Mourning Foundation, a charitable trust for inner-city children, is chairman of the Olympia Center, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to managing and maintaining the Olympia Theater, downtown Miami’s oldest historic performing arts center, and is a member of the Joe Biden Policy Committee on Caribbean Issues.
