National Press Secretary

Before working for Latino Victory Project, González worked for the U.S. House of Representatives’ Texas 28th Congressional District. She was also a reporter for The Rio Grande Guardian, an online political news publication specializing in Texas politics. She covered United States- Mexico border issues including border security, trade and business, and education.

Gonzalez obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Texas A&M International University and a Master of Arts degree in mass communications from Texas State University. She lives in Washington, D.C., and is owned by two black cats, Kikki and Raspas.
