With Early Voting Beginning on Monday, Latino Victory Project Reminds Orange County Latinos to Make Their Voices Heard

Washington, D.C. — With early voting beginning on Monday, October 20, 2014 in Orange County, Latino Victory Project President Cristóbal Alex today urged Latinos across the county to make their voices are heard on Election Day.

“We all know Election Day 2014 will be an incredibly important day for the Latino community in Florida and across the country,” Alex said. “However, our community must not take chances when it comes to ensuring our voices are heard. Be sure to take advantage of early voting in Orange County, and encourage your friends and relatives to see if their county offers early voting as well. When we come out to vote early, the collective power of the Latino voice will ring clear on November 4th.”

A 2012 Pew report notes that there are 2.1 million Hispanic eligible voters in Florida, making it the third largest Hispanic eligible voter population nationally.

According to the Orange County Supervisor of Elections, early voting for the November 4, 2014 election begins on Monday, October 20, 2014. Registered voters in Orange County may vote at any Early Voting Center between October 20th and November 2nd. To view a list of all the Early Voting Centers in Orange County, please click here.
