Poll Shows Biden Leading with Latinos in Florida, a Key Latino Battleground State

Washington, D.C. — A poll released today by Noticiero Telemundo Arizona by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy points to Vice President Joe Biden’s strengthening momentum with Latino voters in Florida. Among Florida Latino voters, the poll shows Biden leading Sanders 48 to 37 percent, and is the favorite to beat Donald Trump by 58 percent to 38 percent.

Latino Victory is the first and only national Latino organization to endorse Vice President Biden ahead of the Nevada Caucus.

“Today’s poll points to the obvious Florida will seal the deal for the nominee in the Democratic primary, and that candidate is Joe Biden,” said Mayra Macías, Latino Victory Fund executive director. “Vice President Biden’s resounding primary victories have made it clear that voters across the country know he’s the best, most experienced candidate for the job.  He’s the candidate who can unite our country, restore the dignity to the Oval Office, and who is best positioned to beat Donald Trump.

“Biden has championed issues that matter to the Latino community throughout his career, including access to affordable health care, job growth and economic prosperity, access to higher education and gun violence reform. Latino Victory is proud to stand with Vice President Joe Biden and will work tirelessly to ensure that he replaces Donald Trump in the White House next year.”
