Stephanie Valencia is one of Washington, DC’s leading political strategists, having spent over ten years working on campaigns, in Congress, and building coalitions and running issue campaigns from the White House, Department of Commerce and now the private sector. Stephanie is currently at Google’s Washington, DC policy office, managing the company’s strategic outreach and partnerships with third party advocacy groups and think tanks. She works on issues ranging from the transatlantic digital agenda and user privacy to patent reform and broadband access. Stephanie started her career in the nation’s capital as a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Fellow for the U.S. Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee, chaired by Senators Tom Dashcle (D-SD) and Hillary Clinton (D-NY). Stephanie, a graduate of Boston College, was born and raised in New Mexico. She and her husband Oscar live on Capitol Hill with their two dogs, Dug and Lucy.
